Our Story

About JamTrak

Our Company has been creating delicious Jams for over three years now. We are located in La Plata, Missouri, a small town of about 1,000 residents. La Plata is a railroad town, which is where we get our name JamTrak. It is located on a major railroad line that runs between Chicago and Kansas City.

Each of our jams are hand made, just like grandmother used to cook.  All of our products are 100% all-natural. We do not use any artificial flavors, preservatives, or artificial colors. We believe that the food you eat needs to be pure goodness, so we do not take any shortcuts in cooking or packaging. We do not use any large packaging machines to fill the jars. We do everything by hand so you know the quality is going to be second to none!

Each of our jams are cooked in open kettles and are carefully managed to ensure the best flavors possible! They are made in small batches, completely by hand so that the quality of each batch is carefully controlled so that the jams are flavorable!

About the Owner

I’m a Midwest boy who grew up in Iowa. Later I moved about the country for a few years and now have settled down once again in the Midwest. I always enjoyed business, being kind of a health nut myself and seeing all of the foods being made with all the preservatives, colors, high fructose corn syrup etc. I decided to make the go with foods, and try to keep the ingredients and process as natural as possible.Out of state, my family was already involved in the food business, including jams, and people loved it, the natural way! So I made my decision to start with jams.

I personally use the jam for flavoring plain yogurt, oatmeal, and good old peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before the gym! Personal favorite, raspberry! Jalapeno is awesome too with cream cheese and crackers.
